But now it looks like the Lord has shown CST and the CST family that God can continue to prosper CST’s ministry right here in southern California, after all. So I join with those who delight in this new reality. But it would be helpful to know how commitments we have made in Salem impact our ability to maintain a dynamic program in Claremont, given the continuing financial challenges, on top of the presumably heavy cost of litigation. Having said that, I continue to hold President Jeffrey Kuan and his team in the leadership of CST in the highest regard, and urge all who believe in CST’s theological mission to continue supporting CST with redoubled efforts.

I love having Claremont just up the freeway for all of the great public events / speakers that it provides us here in Southern California.

I wander why the CAL-PAC conference wants to move the whole campus to Oregon? Especially to sell the campus for the financial needs? Is there ways that the local churches within the North, South, West and East Districts UMC churches get a meeting shares pro and con of the financial needs? For example, diverse culture and diverse nature of the students body of the campus- Are the different cultures and different churches aware of the financial problems that the seminary has? I wonder how virtual impact through educate public and local churches of the seminary missions can help? With the important issues that rises during the Covid 19 the world is not the same anymore. The new normal is virtual world with physical world is the REAL WORLD. How is the CAL-PAC prepare for that?

I am a 1969 graduate with a post-BD Rel.D. It was a great transition for me coming from another tradition. Will look forward to seeing how it prospers in two locations
