This issue feels more personal to me than most. I lost a personal friend who took his own life with a handgun, and I stood beside two business associates who had just learned of a shooing that claimed the lives of two employees in their place of business.
I struggle to find my voice – to move beyond my anger and to work for real and effective changes that will reduce the gun violence in our nation. Words still escape me, but I am in solidarity with those who work to bring about change.

Lord have mercy.
Christ have mercy.
Lord have mercy.
